Corners of my Garden

I ‘m not sure yet why I am doing this blog.

I suppose it is because my garden and some land we have has become a major project and I want to keep a record of the various stages in its development as well as information about the plants I’m growing. I suppose I also want to keep a permanent record of things I have learned about plants and their preferred habitats, not just for myself but to pass on to my children when they start to take an interest in gardening as I am sure they will. Way down the line they might also get some insight into their mother’s way of thinking long after I’m gone. Hopefully though I’ve a good twenty or more years ahead of me to see the fruits of my labour in this garden.

I thought about keeping this blog closed just for family and friends but that’s not so much fun as opening it up to catching the wisdom of the world in the comments section.
